Lifetime BrandsKellwod Companies

RCS extends engagements with Lifetime Brands and Kellwood Company

RCS Real Estate Advisors has expanded previous engagements with Lifetime Brands and Kellwood Company to provide additional Restructuring and Portfolio Optimization services.

RCS was first retained by Lifetime Brands in 2007 and successfully terminated leases for underperforming outlet stores. Through their extended engagement, RCS will immediately manage lease terminations for the remaining 53 outlet retail stores including 39 Pfaltzgraff factory stores, eight Farberware outlet retail stores and six clearance stores.

Kellwood Company has been working with RCS Real Estate Advisors since May 2008. During that time, RCS obtained lease terminations, rent relief and renewals at selected stores. Kellwood has extended their retention of RCS to now handle lease terminations for 39 additional stores, including 12 warehouse locations, and to execute renewals on 12 existing locations.

Optimizing the financial performance
of Bob’s Stores

After recently being sold by The TJX Companies to new owners Versa Capital Management and Crystal Capital, Bob’s Stores turned to the experts at RCS Real Estate Advisors to develop and implement a real estate strategy that will increase their financial performance.

Headquartered in Meriden, Conn., Bob’s Stores, a value-oriented, casual clothing and footwear superstore for the entire family, currently operates 34 retail locations in the Northeastern U.S. RCS will analyze these locations, then build and apply a plan that will boost the overall performance of the Bob’s Stores brand.
