Marsh Supermarkets Auction Results
RCS Real Estate Advisors helps Marsh Supermarkets, Inc. sell 25 surplus properties at auction.

NEW YORK, NY, December 11, 2007 – New York, NY-based RCS Real Estate Advisors, the pre-eminent real estate advisory firm to the retail industry, announced the successful auction of 25 Marsh Supermarkets, Inc. fee-owned properties. The auction raised approximately $12 million. RCS Real Estate Advisors Senior Vice President Spence Mehl made the announcement.
The 25 fee-owned locations in and around Indianapolis, Ind., consisting of both undeveloped properties and former supermarkets already closed by Marsh, were sold to buyers from all over the United States. A former Trio's restaurant in Noblesville, Ind. and a former Marsh Supermarket in Greencastle, Ind. are still available for purchase.
"The auction was well attended," said Mehl. "Marsh is very pleased with the results and eager to sell the final two properties."
